The Cecotec Ready Warm 9770 Ceramic Towel is a white aluminium towel rail that combines two heat sources: the heated bars (500 W) keep towels dry, and a 1500 W PTC ceramic fan heater in the base unit warms the room quickly, for a combined 2000 W. An LED display shows the room temperature, and every function can be set from the touch panel or the supplied remote control.
It measures about 1015 x 550 mm with a 125 mm projection and plugs into a standard 230 V earthed socket, so no plumbing is needed. Before buying, check that the outlet sits well away from the bath or shower: the manual asks for at least 60 cm from the bath/shower and 15 cm clearance to the floor and ceiling, and the socket must not be directly above the unit. The thermostat runs from 5 to 40 °C, the timer from 1 to 24 hours, and a child lock and overheating cut-out are built in; the maker states it is meant for occasional or supplementary heating, not as the main heating of a home.
Data comes from Cecotec product page and technical manual, which prevail over this summary. Cecotec gives a 3-year guarantee for Spain in addition to the statutory guarantee.
