The Mira Event XS is a compact power shower that combines a thermostatic mixing valve with an integral pump, finished in white with chrome trim. It keeps the blended temperature stable for family use, lets you set pump power, flow and temperature separately, and remembers your settings between showers. It is supplied with a four-spray rub-clean handset, hose and riser rail with fittings.
Event XS needs stored hot water and a cold storage tank – it is for low-pressure gravity systems and must not be fed from mains or a combi boiler. Minimum head is very low (about 0.008 bar), maximum 1 bar. The pump needs a small fused electrical spur installed to UK regulations. Water enters on the left (rising, falling or rear) through 15 mm push-fit inlets.
Specifications are taken from the manufacturer’s documentation; if anything differs, the manufacturer’s current installation guide prevails and should be checked before ordering. Mira gives a 1-year manufacturer guarantee on this product (registration may be required), in addition to the statutory guarantee rights of the buyer.
