The Mira Advance Flex is a thermostatic electric shower designed for assisted and family bathrooms, RNIB-approved for users with visual impairment. This 8.7 kW model in white and chrome has a push-button start, a large loop-handle lever for flow, a temperature control with an adjustable maximum-temperature stop and beeps that confirm on, off and temperature reached. Clearscale Pro reduces scale and Opti-flo Pro keeps performance steady. The Flex fittings kit has a long riser, friction-grip handset holder and 1.5 m hose for seated or standing use.
It runs from cold mains only, with at least 0.5 bar running (1.0 bar recommended for full flow), 5 bar running and 10 bar static maximum, and static pressure that never drops below 0.2 bar. Electrically it needs a dedicated circuit, a 45 A double-pole isolator and supply cable no larger than 16 mm² sized to BS 7671. Water enters on the right (top, bottom, rear); check this against the old shower position.
