The Flex Round is the Quooker tap with a pull-out hose. Hot and cold mixed water can be sprayed from the hose for rinsing pans and the sink, while 100 °C boiling water comes only from the fixed spout – the hose itself never delivers boiling water. The polished-chrome tap is sold with the PRO3 vacuum tank (3 litres) and the spout swivels 270°.
Plan for at least 2 bar of cold mains pressure (maximum 6 bar), a 13 A UK socket under the sink and space for a tank around 47 cm high and 15 cm across. The tap fits a 35 mm hole in worktops up to 50 mm thick; supply connections are 3/8″ BSP male. The tank heats in about 15 minutes at 1600 W and uses about 10 W on standby. The tap is 412 mm high.
