The Nordic Round Single Tap is Quooker’s dedicated boiling-water tap: it delivers only 100 °C water and is installed next to a separate hot/cold mixer, which suits kitchens where the existing mixer is staying. The polished-chrome tap has a round, height-adjustable swivelling spout (360°) and the knurled child-safe handle must be pressed twice and turned before water flows. It comes with the PRO3 vacuum tank holding 3 litres.
Check that the worktop or sink has, or can take, a second 32 mm tap hole (worktop up to 50 mm thick), that cold mains pressure is at least 2 bar (maximum 6 bar), and that a 13 A socket and space for a tank about 47 cm high and 15 cm across are available under the sink. The tap reaches 162 mm and its height can be set between 170 and 405 mm. The tank heats in about 15 minutes at 1600 W.
