Cistermiser STD 1/2″ Hydraulic Urinal Flush Control Valve, 0.5–6 bar, No Power

The Cistermiser Hydraulic Control Valve (Standard model) is a fit-and-forget urinal flush controller that needs no electricity. It sits on the supply pipe to the urinal cistern and reacts to the short pressure drops caused when taps or WCs on the same supply are used; a diaphragm valve then opens until the pressures on both sides of the hydraulic accumulator equalise, so the cistern fills and flushes only while the washroom is in use. An adjuster screw sets how much water passes at each operation.

The Standard valve is for supply pressures of 0.5 to 6 bar (mains or tank-fed above 5 m head); for 3–5 m head tank-fed systems choose the Low Pressure model. It reacts to a 15 % pressure drop, connects with 1/2″ BSP parallel threads and measures 81 × 116 × 81 mm; fit it the right way round (arrow on the base in the direction of flow). An optional hygiene flush attachment gives a flush about every 12 hours in quiet periods.
