The Honeywell Home V4073A1088/U is a motorised three-port mid-position valve for fully pumped Y-plan systems with 28 mm primary pipework. It sends flow to the heating circuit (port A), the hot-water cylinder (port B) or both at once (mid position), under the control of a room and a cylinder thermostat, and its switch output runs the boiler and pump. On power failure the spring returns the valve to hot water. The brass-bodied valve has a replaceable powerhead and a manual lever for filling and draining.
It connects with 28 mm compression fittings, runs on 230 V AC 50 Hz at 6 W with a 2.2 A switch rating and opens in about 14 seconds. Maximum static pressure is 8.6 bar, differential pressure 0.6 bar and fluid temperature 5–88 °C; the valve measures 137 × 117 × 60 mm and weighs 1.3 kg. Mount it on horizontal or vertical pipe with the powerhead above the centreline and wire it through a Y-plan wiring centre; installation should be carried out by a competent heating engineer.
