This Purewater Storage kit fills and tops up cold-water storage tanks. It combines a Pegler 901 equilibrium float valve with a drop arm, which lets the float sit lower when the valve is mounted in a raised float-valve housing, and a copper ball float. Equilibrium valves balance the water pressure across the piston, so they close smoothly and quietly, keep a high flow rate and compensate for changes in supply pressure.
The 3/4″ valve has a BSP male threaded tail with gunmetal back nut, works up to 10 bar (water up to 20 °C) and up to 85 °C, and the body is corrosion-resistant gunmetal with a brass lever arm. Check the tank inlet hole, the space for the drop arm and float swing, and that the inlet arrangement meets the Water Regulations (air gap / warning pipe) for the tank.
