The Mercer is a 600 mm oval vessel basin from Haddon, cast in stone resin and hand finished to a smooth matte white surface. Its thin rim and soft, low profile (110 mm tall, 400 mm deep) give a calm, modern look on a vanity top or floating shelf, and the material holds water temperature better than thin ceramic.
The basin has no tap hole and no built-in overflow, so it needs an unslotted waste and either a wall-mounted mixer or a tall deck-mounted mixer placed on the worktop; the maker recommends a tall tap. Check that your countertop is at least 600 x 400 mm with room for the tap, and that the waste position lines up with the trap in the unit below. Tap, waste and trap are sold separately. A polished-white version exists (HAD100195).
