Volux is a vessel basin from Otium with an organic, asymmetric form: the rim rises and falls like a wave and the bowl follows the same irregular line. It is cast in cement and finished in a smooth matte grey, measuring 570 mm wide, 370 mm deep and 200 mm high, which makes it a statement piece on a stone or wooden vanity.
It has no tap hole and no overflow, so pair it with a wall-mounted mixer or a tall deck mixer. A grey click-clack valve for the 45 mm outlet comes in the box; the trap does not. At 200 mm the rim sits fairly high above the worktop, so check the final washing height and choose a spout long enough to reach the centre of the bowl. Cement can vary slightly in tone and should be cleaned with mild products only.
Details come from Otium’s product information, which prevails if anything differs. The manufacturer guarantee period is not published; the statutory guarantee applies.
