Mika is an oval vessel basin from the Polish brand REA, cast in Artificial Stone, a stone composite with a matte finish. The outside is deliberately rough and chiselled like quarried rock, while the inside of the bowl is smooth for comfort and easy cleaning. This version is Beige, a warm grey-beige tone; the same shape comes in ten other colours.
The basin is 500 mm long, 380 mm wide and 150 mm tall, with a 120 mm deep bowl. It sits on top of a worktop or vanity, has no tap hole and no overflow, so it needs a tall deck mixer or a wall-mounted tap and an unslotted (click-clack) waste for its 45 mm outlet; waste and trap are sold separately. Check the worktop opening for the drain, the reach of the tap spout over the bowl, and the overall rim height of about 150 mm above the counter.
Information comes from REA’s official Spanish shop and its technical drawing, which prevail if anything differs. REA gives a 5-year guarantee on basins (warranty terms document), in addition to the statutory guarantee.
