The Rock basin is hollowed out of a single natural river stone. The outside is left rough and grey, and the inside of the bowl is polished to a smooth dark grey to black finish. Because every stone is different, the size (about 45 x 40 x 15 cm), the shape and the veining change from one piece to the next, so no two basins look the same.
The basin sits on top of a worktop or vanity unit and needs no tap hole. Use a tall deck mixer or a wall-mounted tap, with a standard trap and a basin waste. Natural stone is heavy, so make sure the worktop is strong and level, and cut the waste hole after you receive the basin, since the outlet position varies a little. Seal the stone as the supplier recommends.
