The Mira Element EV 1.1910.002 is the bare exposed valve from the Element mixer range, supplied without shower fittings so it can be paired with an existing riser kit or overhead shower. A single round control turns the water on and sets the temperature; the thermostatic cartridge holds that temperature when pressure changes and shuts the flow within about two seconds if the cold supply fails. The maximum temperature is factory-set to 41 °C and can be adjusted on site. Mira’s Magni-flo internal waterways are designed to give a much stronger flow than similar valves on low-pressure systems.
The valve fits 15 mm supplies at 153 mm centres with compression inlets that accept rising, falling or rear entry, and reversed hot/cold inlets are handled by turning the cartridge. The outlet is 1/2″ BSP male flat-face or 15 mm compression, so check that your riser kit or hose matches. It is rated from 0.1 bar (1 m head) to 5 bar maintained pressure and 10 bar static, so it works on gravity, pumped, combi and unvented systems, with hot water at 60–65 °C. Removable inlet filters protect the cartridge in hard-water areas.
