The Vega Plus Square is the square-head version of Roca’s Vega Plus shower column. A compact single-lever mixer with a side handle feeds a telescopic stainless-steel riser; the integrated diverter switches between the 250×250 mm square overhead shower and the Ø110 mm Stella hand shower with three spray functions. The hand shower rides on a height-adjustable swivel holder and is connected by a 1.5 m metal hose. All visible metal parts are finished in Roca’s Evershine chrome and the nozzles are flexible for easy descaling.
The mixer fits two exposed wall outlets with G1/2″ threads at 150 mm centres (54–70 mm wall offset), the usual set-up when replacing an old bath-shower or shower mixer in Spain. Per Roca’s drawing the riser adjusts from 600 to 970 mm between the inlet axis and the top of the arm, the arm reaches 340 mm from the wall and the mixer body is 310 mm wide, so check ceiling height and the depth of the shower area. A single-lever mixer works best with similar hot and cold pressures, as with mains water and a combi boiler or electric water heater; Roca does not state a minimum working pressure.
Specifications come from Roca’s product page, factsheet and technical drawing, which prevail. Roca gives a 5-year commercial guarantee on shower columns, on top of the statutory guarantee.
