Vernis Blend is Hansgrohe’s soft-edged entry design range. This bath shower mixer mounts on the bath rim through two holes at 180 mm centres; two quarter-turn handles with ceramic shut-off cartridges control hot and cold, and a diverter on the spout sends water to the hand shower. The diverter resets automatically when the water is turned off and can be locked, and a silencer and non-return valve are built in. The set comes with a 100 mm Vario hand shower with Rain and IntenseRain sprays, a holder and a hose.
It is a manual (non-thermostatic) mixer, so it suits balanced supplies; Hansgrohe states it works from 0.2 bar, which makes it usable on low-pressure gravity systems as well as combi and unvented ones. The spout fills at about 49 l/min at 3 bar. Check that the bath rim has two tap holes of about 28 mm at 180 mm centres and that the G 3/4″ tails reach your supply pipes; overall width is 230 mm and the spout reaches 110 mm.
If any figure on this page differs from the manufacturer’s documentation, the manufacturer’s documentation prevails. Hansgrohe gives a 5-year manufacturer guarantee, in addition to the statutory rights of the buyer.
