The Trafalgar Traditional valve is a period-style exposed thermostatic mixer from the Trafalgar range. A round brass body in polished chrome carries two separate controls – a white-lever handle for temperature and a crosshead for flow – and a single top outlet that takes a traditional rigid riser or overhead kit; adaptors for 15 mm and 18 mm risers are included.
Inlets sit at 150 mm centres on wall elbows. The valve needs at least 0.5 bar (up to 5 bar) and hot water between 55 and 85 °C, which suits combi, unvented and pumped systems; on a gravity supply Trafalgar recommends a negative-head or universal pump, not a positive pump. The body is 75 mm in diameter and projects about 156 mm from the wall. The shower kit is sold separately – choose a riser with a G 3/4″ connection.
If any figure on this page differs from the manufacturer’s documentation, the manufacturer’s documentation prevails. Trafalgar gives a 5-year guarantee on the valve (1 year on serviceable parts such as cartridges and check valves), in addition to the statutory rights of the buyer.
