Scudo’s Core Round set is a complete concealed shower in matt black. A thermostatic valve with two round controls – one for temperature, one for flow and outlet selection – sits behind a 225 x 120 mm wall plate and feeds a round 235 mm head on a 350 mm wall arm and a slim handset on a wall outlet with bracket. Two sets of handles are supplied, a diamond-knurled and a smooth version, so the look can be chosen at fitting. Head and arm are brass and 304 stainless steel.
The valve works between 0.5 and 5 bar with 1/2″ BSP connections and delivers up to about 26 l/min at 3 bar, so it is best on combi, unvented or pumped supplies; a gravity system needs a pump. The concealed body needs a wall cavity of roughly 85 to 140 mm (see the drawing) and access for servicing. The set is WRAS approved.
If any figure on this page differs from the manufacturer’s documentation, the manufacturer’s documentation prevails. Scudo registers its taps and showers for a lifetime guarantee, in addition to the statutory rights of the buyer.
