This brushed-brass shower kit is built around an exposed thermostatic bar valve with a cool-touch body, so the surface stays safe to touch while the cartridge holds the set temperature. One control sets temperature and the other turns the flow on and diverts it between the 200 mm round overhead drencher, which tilts on a ball joint, and a single-spray handset that slides on the adjustable riser. A 1.5 m hose and the fixing kit are included; the valve is brass, the shower parts are brass and ABS.
The bar valve fits standard UK 15 mm supplies at 150 mm centres, and it is rated for all water systems from 0.5 to 5 bar: expect around 4 l/min at the head on a low-pressure gravity system and up to about 16 l/min on a combi or unvented supply. The installed kit is about 1150 mm tall and 276 mm wide with 340 mm projection, so check the ceiling height and enclosure depth. Thermostatic valves expect hot on the left and cold on the right; where the pipes are reversed the valve has to be reconfigured.
