This Milan shower combines a square brass thermostatic bar valve with a rigid riser, an ultra-thin 300 x 300 mm overhead head and a square handset on an adjustable holder. A built-in diverter on the valve switches between the two outlets, both heads have rub-clean rubber nozzles, and the riser height adjusts between about 730 and 1175 mm; total projection from the wall is around 305 mm.
The valve fits 15 mm supplies at 150 mm centres, has non-return valves and shuts down if the cold supply fails. It needs 0.5 to 5 bar, so it suits combi and unvented systems; on a low-pressure gravity system a negative or universal pump is required. Note that some trim parts are chrome-plated plastic rather than metal. Check ceiling height for the overhead head before ordering.
