The Minilite EV is Mira’s compact exposed thermostatic valve in chrome-plated brass. One lever turns the shower on and sets the temperature; the thermostatic cartridge holds it steady when other taps are used and shuts down within about two seconds if the cold supply fails. The maximum temperature is factory-set at 41 °C and can be adjusted on site. Mira’s Magni-Flo design gives about 4 l/min at only 0.1 bar and around 13 l/min at 0.5 bar.
This is the valve only: choose a hose, riser rail and handset with a 1/2″ BSP connection. It suits all systems, including low-pressure gravity, combi and unvented, from 0.1 to 5 bar maintained pressure (10 bar static), with hot water of 60-65 °C. Supplies can come from above, below or behind on 1/2″ BSP or 15 mm compression at 110 mm centres, and reversed supplies can be corrected at the valve. The body projects about 96 mm from the wall.
