The Sumatra set by IMEX is a concealed shower designed for a ceiling installation. The extra-flat rectangular head (590 x 480 mm) is made of S304 stainless steel with anti-limescale nozzles and offers several water patterns – a central rain zone, waterfall strips and mist outlets – each fed by its own G 1/2″ inlet. A brass 4-way single-lever mixer with a 35 mm ceramic cartridge sits in a concealed box in the wall and also serves the square handset on a brass wall outlet with holder and 1.5 m hose. This version includes the pre-frame (premarco) for the ceiling.
The head hangs from four M10 rods and needs a false ceiling of around 100 mm plus four separate supply lines from the mixer, so it is best planned during a full renovation. It is specified for an operating range of 3 to 6 atm, which suits mains-pressure systems (combi, pressurised or a booster pump); a gravity supply will not drive the multiple outlets properly. Check the ceiling structure and access for servicing before installation.
If any figure on this page differs from the manufacturer’s documentation, the manufacturer’s documentation prevails. IMEX does not publish a guarantee period on its product page; the statutory guarantee (3 years in Spain) applies.
