The Vitalio Joy System 260 is GROHE’s QuickFix exposed shower system built around the Precision thermostat. The TurboStat cartridge reacts quickly to pressure and temperature changes, a SafeStop button limits the first stop to 38 °C (an optional 43 °C limiter is included) and CoolTouch insulation keeps the body cool. The Aquadimmer handle sets the flow and switches between the Ø260 mm head shower, with Rain, SmartRain and Jet sprays on a 30° ball joint, and the Vitalio Joy 110 Massage hand shower, with Rain, Massage and SmartRain on a gliding holder. The arm swivels 180° and projects about 470 mm; an EasyReach tray sits on top of the thermostat.
The thermostat mounts on standard 150 mm ±15 mm centres with S-unions and G1/2″ connections, and the upper bracket is adjustable so it can reuse existing drill holes. GROHE recommends 1 to 5 bar, which suits combi boilers and unvented cylinders; it also works with instantaneous water heaters from 18 kW and needs at least 5 l/min. The column is 1116 mm tall with the bracket adjustable over a 140 mm range, so check ceiling height. Maximum system flow is 9.5 l/min at 3 bar.
The data comes from GROHE’s product specification sheet and product page, which prevail. GROHE gives a 5-year manufacturer guarantee on its products, in addition to the statutory guarantee.
