The Aquarian is one of Aqualisa’s long-running exposed mixer valves, supplied as the bare bar valve so it can be paired with a Varispray or Turbostream riser kit or an existing shower fitting. A bi-metallic thermostatic element keeps the temperature steady, the temperature control sits at one end of the bar and a half-turn flow control at the other, and the chrome body is 308 mm wide, 76 mm high and 110 mm deep.
Supplies enter from the rear through eccentric connectors (15 mm), which helps when replacing an old exposed valve whose pipes come out of the wall, and the shower outlet is underneath the valve. Aqualisa rates it from 0.1 bar to 10 bar with hot water up to 65 °C, so it works on gravity-fed, pumped, combi and unvented systems; on gravity systems the flow will be modest without a pump. Riser rail, hose and head are not included.
