The Volga 505 3T-V24 is a horizontal multistage surface pump from Garland (Productos McLand, Spain). Three impellers in an HT250 cast-iron body deliver up to 6,000 l/h and 32 m head (3.2 bar) from a 750 W motor, with 1″ (33 mm) suction and delivery ports. It comes with a power cable that plugs directly into a socket or into the optional Garland Head pressure controller, without splicing.
On its own it is a manual transfer/garden pump; for automatic house pressure add a pressure controller (Garland Head) or a pressure switch and vessel, which also provide dry-run protection. It handles clean fresh water up to 40 °C and lifts from up to 8 m; fit a foot valve and strainer on the suction line and support the suction hose if the lift exceeds 3 m. Install it level, ventilated and sheltered from rain and frost, on an earthed circuit with a 30 mA RCD.
