TapBoost is a compact inline pump that fits on the supply pipe of a single outlet. It runs on a safe 12 V supply from a plug-in transformer, has an integrated non-return valve and switches on automatically when it senses at least 1.2 l/min of flow, so there is no switch to operate. Output rises to 7–11 l/min depending on the incoming flow, and noise is a very low 34.2 dB(A).
Use it where one point is weak — a kitchen tap, a toilet that refills slowly, a washing machine or dishwasher showing low-pressure errors, or a single electric shower. It suits combi boilers, unvented cylinders (cold side) and gravity systems; inlet is 15 mm compression and outlet 1/2″ male BSP, maximum inlet pressure 10 bar and water 4–60 °C. The transformer is IPX0, so it must be plugged in somewhere dry, outside the bathroom zones.
