The PDS 05 3-75 is ESPA’s ready-to-fit domestic pressure set. It combines the horizontal Prisma 15 4M multistage pump (stainless-steel sleeve and impellers, 0.55 kW motor) with a Pressdrive 05 electronic controller mounted on the outlet, which starts the pump when a tap opens and stops it when the flow ends. The controller includes a pressure gauge, non-return valve and dry-running protection with automatic restart attempts, so no pressure vessel is needed for normal use.
It is intended for houses supplied from a tank, cistern or shallow well, garden irrigation and general water transfer. The pump is self-priming up to 2 m suction, so for deeper wells a submersible pump is the better choice. Check that the water is clean (max 40 °C), that there is a frost-protected, ventilated place on a level base, that 1″ threaded pipework is available on both sides, and that the 230 V supply is protected by a suitable breaker and RCD as required by the Spanish REBT. Start pressure is adjustable between 1.5 and 2.5 bar.
