The DAB Esybox Mini 3 is an all-in-one electronic pressure booster: a self-priming three-impeller centrifugal pump, a variable-speed inverter, pressure and flow sensors, a non-return valve and a 1-litre expansion vessel are built into one compact, sound-damped housing with an orientable display. The inverter adjusts motor speed to demand so the set pressure (adjustable from 1 to 5.5 bar) stays constant as taps open and close, and the water-cooled motor keeps running noise low.
In UK homes it is normally fed from a cold-water break tank (Category 5 air gap) or a rainwater/well supply rather than connected directly to the mains, so plan the tank, an isolating valve on each side and 1″ G connections (union kit sold separately). It can lie horizontally, stand vertically or be wall mounted with the optional bracket; leave room around it for ventilation and service. It needs a 230 V single-phase supply rated for 850 W / 4.8 A, protected by an RCD, and the pumped water must be clean and below 35 °C for domestic use.
