The Tapworks NSC11PRO is a cabinet ion-exchange softener for homes of one to seven people. Its electronic controller tracks water consumption and remaining capacity and schedules regeneration on demand rather than on a fixed timer, keeping its program through power cuts and running self-diagnostics. Softened-water capacity is about 2,068 litres between regenerations at 300 ppm hardness.
The cabinet is 302 mm wide, 527 mm deep (532 mm including the connectors) and 654 mm high, so it suits a kitchen base unit. The EasyFit kit supplies an all-in-one bypass with check valve, two 500 mm hoses with 22 mm push-fit ends, drain and overflow tubing and a 24 V transformer for an indoor socket. Daytime pressure must be 1.3–8.5 bar (fit a pressure-reducing valve above 5 bar) and water at most 49 °C; use tablet or pellet salt only, not granular or block. Keep an unsoftened drinking tap as Part G requires.
