The ATH Compact-700/030 is a single-cabinet ion-exchange softener: a fibreglass-reinforced polyester resin bottle with food-grade liner sits inside a blow-moulded polyethylene salt cabinet. The Noryl 255/700 valve with Logix electronics counts actual consumption and regenerates when needed (or every 1–99 days), keeps settings in non-volatile memory and offers three brine doses (40/130/200 g per litre of resin); a mixer allows a residual hardness setting.
It is installed at the house inlet with a 1″ male connection, a power socket (220 V–12 V transformer) and a drain. Working pressure is 2.5–8.0 bar (optimum 3.5–4.5 bar) and temperature 0–35 °C. At the standard setting it uses about 3.9 kg salt per regeneration; between regenerations it treats about 5.3 m³ at 30 °Hf, 3.2 m³ at 50 °Hf and 2.3 m³ at 70 °Hf. Footprint approx. 320 x 500 mm, height 1130 mm.
