The Bbagua Ceramic Pilot 2.5 is a compact cabinet softener (320 x 470 x 1055 mm) with 25 litres of strong cationic resin. Its controller regenerates counter-current according to measured water use, which keeps consumption to about 3.75 kg of salt and 125 litres of water per regeneration. It accepts water up to 80 °hf hardness and delivers a maximum of 2500 l/h.
It is fitted at the entry of the home’s supply with the supplied by-pass, needs a socket for the 12 V transformer (6 W) and a drain, and works between 2 and 5 bar and 5–45 °C. Bbagua recommends a 50-micron sediment pre-filter ahead of it and installation only on bacteriologically potable water; Teflon tape on the by-pass connections voids the guarantee.
