The Waterdrop G5P500 is a slim direct-flow RO unit (about 14.5 cm wide) that filters on demand without a storage tank. Two twist-and-pull cartridges provide seven stages: the G5P500-CF composite carbon/sediment cartridge (6 months) and the G5P500-RO membrane cartridge at 0.0001 µm (12 months). Indicator lights show filter status, and the system warns of leaks and shuts itself off.
It installs under the kitchen sink in about 30 minutes using the feed-water adapter on the cold supply, a drain saddle on the waste pipe and the supplied mechanical faucet, which needs a tap hole or a free sink opening. A power socket is needed for the pump adapter; the unit is for indoor use with municipal cold water. With a 2:1 pure-to-drain ratio it wastes far less than a classic 5-stage tank system.
