The ATH Robosoft 120e (RBS 120e) is a cabinet-type water softener for whole-house treatment. A fibreglass-reinforced polyester vessel holds 20 litres of food-grade resin; the electronic valve counts actual consumption and regenerates only when needed, using upflow (counter-current) brining and a choice of salt doses to keep salt and water use low. During regeneration the house is fed automatically through the bypass.
Install indoors on a level floor, out of sunlight and away from temperatures below 5 °C or above 50 °C, with a 1″ connection, a permanent 230 V socket for the 24 V transformer and a drain below the valve outlet. The supply must be 2–8 bar (pressure reducer above, booster below); a non-return valve is required if a water heater is present and a pre-filter is recommended. Use tablet salt only; each regeneration uses about 100 l of water. The cabinet is 1086 mm high, 438 mm wide and 524 mm deep.
