Saniflo Saniplus Up 6003 Macerator, 4 Inlets, for WC, Basin, Shower and Bath

The Saniplus Up is Saniflo’s full-bathroom macerator in its current slimmer housing. A white plastic tank sits directly behind the WC pan and collects waste from the toilet and from up to three more fixtures; stainless cutting blades break the waste down and a 400 W motor pumps it away through small-bore pipe. A removable lid gives access to the tank for cleaning and servicing.

Use it where a bathroom, en-suite or loft room cannot be connected to a gravity soil stack. It lifts up to 5 m vertically or runs up to 100 m horizontally, and accepts 22, 28 or 32 mm discharge pipe. Before buying, check that the WC pan has a horizontal outlet and that there is about 210 mm of clearance behind it, that a shower tray is at least 130 mm high so water reaches the inlet, and that a fused spur on a dedicated circuit is available. In the UK, macerators are only permitted where a gravity connection is not practical (Building Regulations Part H); in Spain they are installed under the CTE drainage rules, again where gravity drainage is not possible.
