SFA Sanitrit 0100100 WC Macerator, 1 Inlet, 400 W

The Sanitrit is SFA’s basic single-inlet macerator, also sold as Saniflo in other markets. A compact white unit sits behind the toilet pan, receives the waste through a Ø110 mm front sleeve, shreds it with a stainless steel cutter and pumps it out through small-bore pipe. An active-carbon filter handles venting, and the unit switches on automatically by a pressure sensor when the pan is flushed.

It is meant for adding a WC in a basement, garage, under-stair space or any room without a gravity soil connection. It accepts only a toilet: basins or showers need a multi-inlet model such as the Sanipro or Saniplus. Check that the pan has a horizontal outlet, that the discharge route to the nearest soil pipe stays within 5 m vertical or 100 m horizontal (less if both are combined), that 22 or 32 mm pipe can be laid with a continuous fall after the riser, and that a socket on an RCD-protected circuit is near the unit. In Spain the CTE HS5 requires gravity drainage where possible; the macerator is the solution where it is not.
