Saniflo Up is the WC-only model of Saniflo’s current Up range and the successor of the original Saniflo unit, with the same pipe centres so it can replace an older one directly. A 400 W motor and a single-blade cutter macerate the WC waste in a compact white tank that fits behind a horizontal-outlet pan; maintenance is from the top, and the basket can be reached without removing the unit.
Before buying, check that the pan has a horizontal outlet and can sit within 20 cm of the unit, plan the discharge route (22, 28 or 32 mm pipe, vertical lift first, then a steady fall) and keep the unit accessible. A second gravity-drained WC must exist in the property. In the UK it must be wired to a fused, unswitched spur with a 5 A fuse, not a plug, by a qualified electrician.
