The Adexa DVA12 is the Italian DVA LT12 manual softener: a 12-litre pressure vessel filled with ion-exchange resin, with two brass ball valves on the inlet and outlet. It contains no electronics; when the resin is exhausted the user stops the connected machine, adds salt through the top cap and runs the regeneration by hand, flushing brine to a floor drain.
It is meant for a single appliance such as a glasswasher, dishwasher or coffee machine rather than a whole house. Feed pressure must be 1–8 bar (3–4 bar recommended), feed water 6–25 °C and below 90 °f hardness; connections are 3/4″ G (3/8″ adaptors). Place it next to a floor drain and remember the appliance cannot be used during regeneration.
