STORMBOOST is Stuart Turner’s single-head peripheral pump for boosting low mains water pressure. The pump body and impeller are brass, the induction motor carries an auto-reset thermal trip, and an integral bypass and anti-seize exercise function protect it during long idle periods. A flow switch starts it at roughly 0.6 l/min and stops it when the outlets close.
UK water regulations limit pumps fitted directly on the mains to 12 l/min, which is exactly the output of this model, so check the property’s incoming flow first: the pump raises pressure, it does not create extra water. It suits combi boiler and cold mains systems, is floor or plinth mounted, connects with the supplied 15 mm push-fit flexible hoses and runs on a fused 230 V spur (5 A fuse). Water temperature must stay between 4 and 23 °C, and installation should be done by a competent plumber.
