The Hyco Powerflow Smart PF30LS is a wall-mounted unvented multipoint water heater with a 30-litre glass-lined steel tank, Incoloy 3 kW element and magnesium anode, in a white powder-coated steel case of 542 x 380 x 389 mm. A digital panel offers standard, smart and eco (50 °C) modes and the LS version adds an anti-legionella cycle that holds 65 °C for an hour every two weeks; heat-up from 10 to 60 °C takes about 35 minutes.
It comes with the unvented accessory kit (pressure-reducing valve set to 3 bar, expansion relief, T&P valve, expansion vessel and tundish) and falls under Building Regulations G3, so a qualified installer must fit and notify it and run the discharge pipe correctly. Supply pressure can be up to 12 bar before the reducing valve and at least 1 bar; connections are 1/2″ MBSP at the base, the cable is pre-wired, and it draws 13 A.
