The Ariston Pro1 Eco 50 is a round, wall-hung unvented electric water heater for the UK market. Its 49-litre Titanshield enamelled tank with magnesium anode is heated by a 3 kW element under electronic control, with Eco Evo learning mode, a monthly anti-legionella cycle and WaterPlus stratification giving a V40 of 65 litres. Heat-up from cold takes about 60 minutes (ΔT 45 °C); standing loss is 0.92 kWh per 24 h.
It is supplied with the unvented kit (12-litre expansion vessel, tundish and pressure-reducing valve), and under Building Regulations G3 it must be fitted and notified by a qualified unvented installer, with the T&P relief discharging safely. Inlet pressure up to 12 bar is reduced to the 6 bar design pressure; connections are 1/2″ BSP and it needs a 230–240 V fused supply. Mount vertically on a wall that carries about 67 kg full.
Data come from Ariston UK’s product page and documentation, which prevail. Ariston UK gives a 5-year warranty, in addition to statutory rights.
