The Ariston Velis Pro Wifi 50 is a slim electric storage water heater built around two linked inner tanks enamelled with titanium, housed in a flat 797 x 511 x 275 mm casing. Two shielded anti-scale elements share the 1.5 kW load, and a touch LCD on the front sets temperature and the ECO EVO learning mode; the same functions are available remotely through the Ariston Net app over Wi-Fi.
It suits a one-bathroom home where a round cylinder would not fit, since it can hang vertically or on its side. Check that the wall carries about 75 kg when full, that a 230 V supply on its own protected circuit is available, and that the cold inlet gets the supplied safety valve; in Spain the safety valve outlet must drain to waste and connections are 1/2″. Mains pressure must stay below 8 bar, otherwise fit a reducing valve.
If any figure on this page differs from the manufacturer’s documentation, the manufacturer’s documentation prevails. The stated guarantee is 3 years on the Ariston product and 5 years on the tank (with anode maintenance), on top of the statutory guarantee.
