The Ariston Next Evo X 16 is a wall-hung, fan-assisted room-sealed gas water heater for natural gas (G20). Its modulating low-NOx burner (47 mg/kWh) and copper heat exchanger deliver up to 27.4 kW and 16 litres per minute with a 25 K rise; an LED touch display shows the set temperature, which can be set between 35 and 65 °C. Ignition is electronic from the 230 V supply.
It replaces a combi or older multipoint where a mains gas supply and an outside wall are available: the 60/100 mm coaxial flue (C13/C33) is bought separately. Mains water must be at least 0.2 bar and no more than 10 bar, connections are 1/2″ for hot, cold and gas, and the unit needs a fused spur. In the UK it must be installed by a Gas Safe registered engineer; LPG properties need the 11 LPG model or the approved conversion kit.
