The Bosch Tronic 2000 T ES 100-6 is a vertical, wall-mounted electric storage water heater with a 100-litre vitrified-steel tank, CFC-free polyurethane insulation and a magnesium anode. A 2.0 kW element and a front dial thermostat (10–65 °C) heat the tank in about 2 h 55 min for a 50 K rise, giving around 167 litres of mixed water at 40 °C.
Allow for its size and weight: 1031 mm high, 440 mm in diameter, 24 kg empty and about 124 kg full, so the wall must be solid. It draws 8.7 A on a 230 V supply, accepts up to 8 bar (fit a reducing valve above that) and connects with 1/2″ fittings; insulating couplings, safety valve and mounting accessories come in the box, and the safety valve outlet must drain to waste.
