The Bosch Therm 6600 S 12 is a wall-hung, fan-assisted room-sealed gas water heater, the successor of the Junkers Hydronext range, here in the LPG version (G30/G31 butane or propane). It modulates from 5.1 to 20.2 kW to supply up to 12 litres per minute with a 25 K rise, with a multifunction display, flow sensor and electronic ignition; NOx emissions are 38 mg/kWh.
Before buying, check the flue route: it accepts 60/100 or 80/110 concentric ducts (types C13, C33 and others, flue kit not included) and needs a 230 V socket. Supply pressure for butane is 28–30 mbar and propane 37 mbar; water pressure from 0.1 bar (1 bar for full flow) up to 12 bar. Water connections are 3/4″ cold and 1/2″ hot, gas 1/2″. In Spain installation and gas commissioning must be done by an authorised installer.
