The Vaillant atmoMAG mini 114/1 I is the current natural-gas version of Vaillant’s natural-draught atmoMAG water heater. It delivers 11 litres per minute at a 25 K temperature rise, with a useful output of 6.4 to 18.1 kW (heat input 7.6-21.7 kW) and Opti-Mod regulation that lowers power to about 35 %. Ignition is electronic on batteries, so there is no permanent pilot flame and no electrical connection; flame ionisation, flue-spillage and overheating safety devices are built in. It measures 580 x 310 x 255 mm and weighs 9.6 kg.
Eleven litres a minute covers one shower or a kitchen and a basin used in turn; flow and temperature are set together with the front dials. The appliance is type B11BS (open flue, natural draught), so it needs a correctly sized flue and is intended above all for replacing old atmospheric heaters on terraces, patios or in plant rooms: under the Spanish RITE these heaters may not be installed inside dwellings, and Madrid forbids it entirely. Water pressure must be between 0.16 and 13 bar; cold, hot and gas connections are 1/2″. The box includes hoses, a shut-off valve, gas fittings and the wall-mounting kit. Gas connection and commissioning are for an authorised gas installer.
Specifications are taken from Vaillant’s atmoMAG Bajo NOx technical sheet, which prevails in case of difference. The stated guarantee is 2 years in full and 3 years on parts, in addition to the statutory guarantee.
