This Bosch set combines the Therm 6600 S 17 23 room-sealed (fan-assisted) gas water heater for natural gas with the 60/100 mm horizontal coaxial flue kit. The appliance delivers up to 17 litres per minute at a 25 K rise, modulating between 5.7 and 29.5 kW, and its patented combustion system calibrates itself continuously to the gas supply; it is ready to burn a 20 % hydrogen blend. The digital display allows temperature setting degree by degree without cold-water bursts after closing the tap. Low-NOx emissions are 25 mg/kWh. The casing is 570 x 340 x 190 mm and weighs 13.5 kg.
With load profile XL and 17 l/min it can run two showers, or a shower and a kitchen, at the same time. Because the combustion chamber is sealed and the flue is fan-assisted, it can be installed indoors (kitchen, utility room) where an atmospheric heater is not allowed; the coaxial flue runs up to 10 m in 60/100 or 80/110 and 15 m in 80/80. It needs a 230 V socket (max 50 W), at least 0.1 bar of water pressure (1 bar for full flow) and accepts up to 12 bar; connections are 3/4″ cold, 1/2″ hot and 1/2″ gas. It is also compatible with solar pre-heated water. Installation and commissioning must be carried out by an authorised gas installer.
