The Ariston Lydos Hybrid Wifi 100 is a vertical wall-mounted storage water heater that heats its 100-litre titanium-enamelled tank mainly with an integrated air-source heat pump, adding the 1.2 kW electric element only in Boost mode or when demand requires it. Green, Boost and I-Memory modes, an anti-legionella cycle and a dual magnesium plus electronic anode are controlled from the front display or the Aqua Ariston Net app.
Because the heat pump draws heat from room air, the installation room needs at least 13 m³ of air and should not be a sealed cupboard; plan a condensate drain (collection tank optional). The unit weighs 44 kg empty and about 144 kg full, measures 1153 x 465 x 465 mm, connects with 1/2″ fittings and accepts up to 8 bar, so a reducing valve is needed on higher mains pressure. It needs a 220–240 V supply and the supplied safety valve.
