The Heatrae Sadia Hotflo 10 is a British-made unvented point-of-use water heater with a 10-litre high-grade copper inner container and integral 2.2 kW element (2.0 kW at 230 V). Because the container is copper there is no sacrificial anode to inspect; insulation is CFC/HCFC-free flame-retardant expanded polystyrene. An externally adjustable thermostat covers 10 to 70 °C, an indicator shows when the element is on, and a 6 bar pressure relief valve is supplied. It measures 500 x 267 x 252 mm and weighs 6.5 kg empty (16.5 kg full).
Hotflo feeds standard taps or mixers at mains pressure and is sized for washrooms with up to two hand basins, with no cold-water cistern needed. Pipe connections are 15 mm copper tails on the top, so it sits under the basin. Minimum inlet pressure is 0.8 bar and the container is rated 6 bar: below 4.1 bar static pressure no expansion vessel is needed, above it a pressure-reducing valve and expansion arrangement must be fitted as in the instructions, and the relief valve discharge must go to a tundish and a safe point. Supply through a double-pole isolator; installation must comply with Building Regulations G3.
